Started it up again! The new throttle cable is installed and the old Suzuki idled nicely. I was able to wheel it outside and let it run for a bit. |

New piston installed!!
The original seat is in great shape, but the foam is really stiff. I found and bought the correct seat saddle (matching part number) and will build a new seat for
riding while keeping the original seat. Here's a reproduction seat cover. Here's the seat foam.
I wanted blue fork boots and the are pretty good if a bit flimsy.

About a year since we hauled it home. Lots of bearings replaced. And also tires & brakes and stuff.
It's a rare bike. Researching and finding the correct parts, that's the ticket!

New wheel bearings, new brakes, new swing arm bearings, new fork boots, new tires.
You wouldn't believe how many bearings are in the rear wheel alone!

Teardown in progress...
It's a very lightweight bike at this point.
